Betty George is one of the newest clients to move in to Arcare Helensvale St James this month.
After spending her first weekend at the residence, Betty is already making friends and enjoying herself.
“This is a lovely place, it is very relaxed,” she says.
And she looks forward to getting her hair and nails done at the residence hair salon.
Betty’s daughter Julie also loves that the residence is pet friendly.
“When I come to visit, I try to bring in our Pomeranian. Mum just loves spending time with animals.” Julie said.
After taking care of her mother for almost two and a half years, Julie finally made the decision to look at aged care residences in the area.
Conveniently located right beside the St James Park Villas, Julie and her mother are now neighbours living next door to each other.
This means Julie can easily drop by for a visit anytime.
“Everything has been really good so far. Although I was initially reluctant to move mum in, now it makes my heart sing to see that she has caring people around her.” Julie commented.
“Everyone seems so friendly here and I think it’s great for them to have a good quality of life,” Betty’s adopted daughter Anne also commented.
Both Julie and Anne are very happy to see their beloved mother adjusting to her new life at Arcare Helensvale St James.
And when they visit, you can be sure to find them enjoying a cuppa in the courtyard café.
