Clients from Arcare Sanctuary Manors were invited to Arcare Parkwood for an exciting event.
As part of the opening of a new residence, the Sanctuary Manors clients were asked to be part of a residence photoshoot.
Upon arriving at Arcare Parkwood, they were greeted by the residence manager and the photographers.
Everyone was very well-dressed in their colourful clothes and ironed shirts.
The Arcare Parkwood team had organised a beautifully delicious high tea, complete with scones, butter cake, sandwiches and tea and coffee.
The sumptuous nibbles were elaborately displayed on a three-tier cake stand with pretty flowers laid on them.
While enjoying the food and drinks, the professional photographers were busy taking many candid and natural photos of the clients.
There were plenty of smiles and laughter captured as they chatted and mingled among old and new friends.
This high tea as part of the residence photoshoot was also a great opportunity for the five new clients from Arcare Parkwood to get to know each other better and to make new friends from the other aged care residences.
The clients from Arcare Sanctuary Manors sure had a lot of fun at the newly opened Arcare Parkwood.
And they all thought the place was spacious and fabulous.
As they toured the residence and explored the suites, activities rooms, lounge rooms and theatre, they all joked about moving in together.
Some of them even showed off their best dancing moves in the wellbeing centre and gave an impromptu singing performance in the theatre.
Bill, on the other hand, was ready for his afternoon nap as he sat comfortably in the electric recliners.
It was an eventful day exploring Arcare’s newest residence and having a bit of fun with friends.
However, on the bus ride back to their residence, they all stated that they preferred the small and unique community at Arcare Sanctuary Manors.
