Italian Republic Day celebrations

‘I am so proud of what was organised to recognise my Italian heritage,’ Gina said about Arcare Keysborough’s Italian Republic Day celebrations.

‘I am proud to be Italian and Australian,’ she said. ‘Thank you so much, this comes from my heart.’

It was a lively afternoon of celebrations, with the highlight for many residents being the delicious Italian spread.

Lucia served her homemade Italian espresso coffee and biscuits, while Rozina did an impressive job decking out the residence in everything red, white and green.
