Aussie cricket for Australia Day at Arcare Oatlands

In celebration of Australia Day, clients and team members from Arcare Oatlands played many rounds of cricket in the residence.

With hats on backwards and shirts tucked into, the clients were serious about winning their first ever cricket match against the residence team members.

Gathered in the foyer, everyone worked together to make enough space for them to start their match.

It wasn’t long before cricket stumps, bats and balls were taken out and ready for playing.

A few of the clients decided to give batting a try and they did really well!

The other clients who sat along the edge fiercely cheered them on as a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship was displayed.

It was the true Australian spirit that brought everyone together in this eventful game of indoor cricket.
