Beautiful Betty

Born on 21st March 1936, Nora, now known as Betty was raised in a family of three loving sisters.

As a young girl, Betty attended to Mercy College & St Aloyoisus in Essendon, before the family moved to Brighton.

Betty was married to the man of her dreams, named Duncan, and they were married for over 40 years, before he unfortunately passed away.

Betty and Duncan built their home in Blackburn, later moving to Templestowe and then Sydney when LJ Hooker transferred Duncan to another branch.

The couple had 4 lovely children, Emmett, Marguerette, Catherine and Scott.

Betty worked as an Irish Dancing Teacher and Medical Receptionist for a Collins Street Doctor’s Surgery for many years.

In 2017, Betty moved into the Arcare Malvern East community for peace of mind.

Betty is a happy, social lady, who enjoys joining in, in a great deal of the activities at Arcare Malvern East.
