Eight-year-old Jasmin showed the Hillside Community how to Bollywood dance during the Indian Independence Day celebrations in August.
Jasmin, who is the daughter of team member Sonja, was the star of the show and everyone wanted to learn her impressive moves.
The Indian Independence Day was a lively, colourful day in the community, as clients and team members dressed up for the occasion.
To keep in the theme, clients enjoyed an Indian feast for lunch and some Indian treats during an afternoon high tea.
When winter rolls around, the Hillside Community look forward to celebrating a special Christmas in July with their friends at Copperfield College.
The students at the college have been inviting clients over to partake in their Christmas in July for 13 years.
The special lunch put on for clients is part of their year 12 VET hospitality program.
This year was different to previous years as students asked clients if they would like to bring a friend or family member along with them.
It was special for the community to be able to share the event with their nearest and dearest.
With a delicious feast and some musical entertainment put on by the students, the event was one to be remembered.
Several clients commented that the highlight for them was being picked up in the school bus. There was plenty of discussion on board about travelling to school by bus when they were in their school years.
