Building a mini foosball table with clients at Glenhaven

Max and Ken, two clients in Arcare Glenhaven’s Dementia Community joined forces to build the new mini foosball table.

Ken used to work as an engineer and Max worked as a boiler maker which made them perfect for the job!

They both were used to working with their hands and paying a great attention to detail.

Once their foosball handiwork was done and the table was set up, they sat down to enjoy a few games together.

Team members walking past also decided to get involved by playing a few games against the clients.

They had been looking forward to it all morning!

It was a fun day for all in the Tweed community of Glenhaven, especially for Ken and Max as they had the opportunity to relive a part of their building days and in the process, make some new friends.
