Channel 7 at Arcare Caulfield

You may have spotted some familiar faces on the Channel 7 news recently.

On Friday 14th September, the Caulfield Community welcomed a Channel 7 news crew into the residence to showcase their friendship with the local kindergarten.

Every fortnight a group of children from Tree House Early Learning Centre take the short walk down the road to visit their friends.

While the children gather in the foyer, clients set up upstairs and enjoy putting on silly hats, wigs and costumes to surprise the children with.

The children now have their routine organised for when they first arrive. After saying hello to their friends, they rush over to the paper and pencils. Their masterpieces are then given out to clients around the room.

Whether it be playing with balloons, reading books, chatting or singing; the room is filled with laughter and excited chatter.

The children weren’t camera shy in front of the news crew as they performed songs that they had been learning in kindergarten.
