Indian Independence at Burnside
The Burnside Community helped to celebrate the 72nd Indian Independence Day earlier in the year.
Indian Independence Day pays tribute to the nation’s independence from the United Kingdom, and all of the people who fought for it.
Many in the community wore traditional Indian clothing, and everyone shared a delicious Indian feast.
Those in the community who came from India were proud to celebrate their rich culture.
