Kindergarten visit

Kindergarten children from Tree House Early Learning Centre came to visit the clients at the Arcare Malvern East residence.

The seventeen children and their carers travelled all the way to the Malvern East residence from St Kilda on public transport.

Once the children arrived, they jumped straight into conversations with the clients, confidently introducing themselves.

The children also brought their favourite books and board games along, asking many of the clients to join in or help them.

One client, spent the whole morning reading picture books to one particular kindergarten child. Lifestyle coordinator, Tina said “It was beautiful to watch.”

Even the clients who were normally quiet, sullen and reserved, found themselves engaging with the adorable children.

Smiles were seen all around, and already the clients are asking when the children will next visit.
