Lamingtons and dagwood dogs at Arcare Seven Hills’ EKKA celebration

EKKA came to Arcare Seven Hills and it was a special moment that brought back childhood memories for some residents.

“A few of the residents shared with us their memories of going to the EKKA as kids and having dagwood dogs at fêtes. One resident shared that he hadn’t had one for years!” said Lifestyle Coordinator, Lauren.

“This is just wonderful, it really brought out the inner child in me again! I felt like I was part of a community.” Jean (resident) adds.

Daily life at Arcare is all about creating atmospheres to live life to the fullest. The Lifestyle team also added to the glitz and glamour with delicious treats and an array of prizes to win.
