June, from Arcare Knox, likes to sit back, relax and enjoy an indulgent high tea spread while chatting with her friends.
Catching up with friends over a good cup of tea has always been something that she has liked to do and she still finds it an ideal way to spend an afternoon.
Recently, June commented that sipping out of a delicate 1940s cup and saucer gave the perfect bit of extra charm to the delightful afternoon.
With some real ‘foodies’ in the Knox Community, a group has been working on creating a foodlovers guide of the best local cafes. Clients, the ‘judges’, have been visiting several different cafes and sharing their ratings.
Safe to say that it’s proving to be an extremely popular outing.
Betty, from The Lodge at Arcare Knox, was one of the first judges to trial some taste testing.
She chose a carrot cake which she ended up scoring an almost perfect 9/10.
She joked that it’s been the best job of her life being able to go and taste different types of cakes.
The group is looking forward to compiling all of their ratings and photos into one guide that they can share with family, friends and team members.
