My name is Michelle and I am doing my lifestyle work experience placement at Arcare Brighton.
As my placement hours are coming to an end, I have been asked a few questions on my experience here.
I enjoy working with the older generation and want to challenge everyone to do the best they can.
Yes, it’s been wonderful to engage with the residents and staff in a variety of activities and spend some time getting to know everyone.
I plan to find a position in aged care where I can utilise my skills as an art therapist, counselor and lifestyle activities assistant.
Michelle recently sat down with Betty to play a challenging word game. The word of the day was ‘Didaskaleinophobia’ which means the fear of going to school.
Michelle has been a wonderful friend and support to the Brighton Community during her placement.
Good luck Michelle!
