Betty, a resident from Arcare Craigieburn, thoroughly enjoyed the movie Oddball as it showed scenic shots of Warrnambool, a place where she used to travel to for holidays. Oddball is based on a true story of an eccentric farmer and his dog who saves a wild penguin sanctuary.
‘All that time going down to holiday there, I am so glad to hear the story of how the penguins have been saved for future generations,’ Betty said.
The movie was also a hit for Joyce who said, ‘it really is a movie for young ones and oldies.’
Everyone enjoyed going to the United Cinemas to watch the movie, with the residents discussing how movie theatres have changed over the years.
