Sydenham competes for gold
The Sydenham Community were looking forward to competing in this years’ Arcare Olympics. They joined clients and team members from Hillside, Epping, Craigieburn, Maidstone and Burnside.
As usual, it was a great competition with some fierce rivalry.
Despite not walking away as the winners, the team was proud of their achievements and enjoyed their time.
Dedicate a daffodil
The arts and craft group dedicated the whole month of August to making daffodils to contribute towards Daffodil Day.
The crafty bunch made an impressive 100 pieces to sell.
The group also potted daffodils which they decorated the café with.
Eileen commented, ‘I enjoyed making this flower because I know that it is for a good cause.’
Michelina agreed, ‘This group will help the world to have a cancer free future.’
