Paper mache projects with clients at Arcare Maroochydore

Clients at Arcare Maroochydore embarked on a three-week paper mache project to create something truly unique.

Led by Lifestyle Assistant Lisa, the clients started Week One by using a bowl as a mold and mixing flour and water together to act as the glue that holds everything together.

Things got slightly messy and sticky from here, but the clients had so much fun!

During Week Two, they continued to build up the layers by adding more newspaper and DIY glue.

When Week Three came about, the clients were ready to cover their paper mache bowls in colourful, printed and patterned paper.

The end result was a one-of-a-kind bowl covered in pictures of flowers and plants; they had completed their three-week project!

All of the client who took part in the craft activity thoroughly enjoyed it and some are even planning future projects using their newly acquired skills.
