Patricia, an Arcare Home Care client, recently showed off her impressive collection of beautiful handmade crafts. Patricia, who has been knitting for 72 years, was taught by her mother when she was a child. She started off knitting beanies for soldiers during World War Two and has been knitting for various causes ever since.
Her latest project has been dedicated to knitting beanies, teddy bears, angels and other beautiful creations for the Mater Mothers’ Hospital, as well as a few other local organisations.
Patricia can continue to attend her local craft group though Arcare Home Care which supports her in staying connected to the community.
