Embracing the retro themed kitchen with a retro recipe, the Arcare Malvern East Community made a few batches of the classic 1960’s Chocolate Truffles. As everyone crushed, mixed and rolled, Vreni regaled the group with stories of her Swiss cooking, promising to teach everyone how to make her Swiss Christmas cake.
Chocolate Truffle recipe
Ingredients
1 packet Arnott’s Marie Biscuits
1 can condensed milk
2 tablespoons of cocoa
1 cup desiccated coconut
Method
Crush biscuits and combine with Condensed Milk and Cocoa in a mixing bowl. Roll into small balls, coat in desiccated coconut, place on baking tray and refrigerate.
