Roaming Reptiles

‘I was thrilled. I have got to 100 and have never had a snake around my neck before.’ Edna said about the recent Roaming Reptiles visit at Arcare Point Lonsdale.

Nancy was very much in her element on the day and felt comfortable handling the reptiles as she used to work as an educational officer at the zoo. She thoroughly enjoyed getting up close with her friends again and was able to guide those who were not as confident.

While some braved Monty, the impressively large python, others opted to give Kath and Kim, the children’s pythons, a hold.

The Arcare Point Lonsdale Community was lucky that the event was held throughout the school holidays which meant that many residents’ grandchildren could join in the excitement.
