Rock ‘n’ roll party at Hillside
To celebrate the grand opening of the renovations at Arcare Hillside, the community hosted a 50s-style rock ‘n’ roll party.
Clients, team members and families dressed to the nines in 50s-inspired outfits. Everyone had fun guessing who was who as some people were unrecognisable in their wigs and sunglasses.
Milkshakes, mini hotdogs and chips were served in the beautiful new café which was decked out with a jukebox and records lining the walls.
Everyone enjoyed getting their photo taken in the photobooth, posing with props like fake lips and a bow tie.
A live performance of some of the community’s favourite hits had many people tearing up the dance floor.
After several months of construction works, the community is enjoying being able to utilise their new spaces including an alfresco café, hair salon, theatre and spacious lounge area.
The party was a chance for team members to thank clients and families for their patience throughout the renovation period.
