Sinhala New Year

While for many, celebrating New Years is long past, however the Arcare Keysborough Community recently welcomed Sri Lankan New Year, or Sinhala New Year, in with a bang.

Residents dressed up in traditional costume for the occasion as we enjoyed entertainment from Dhanushka and a Sri Lankan dancer.

Milsie was brought to tears during the song ‘Beautiful Sri Lanka’, as it brought back fond memories of growing up in Sri Lanka.
