The Tap Katz wow at Arcare Maroochydore

There was excited chatter throughout the theatre as the long-awaited Tap Katz returned to Arcare Maroochydore in early March.

Donning their beautifully handmade costumes of silk, sequins and feathers, the ladies tapped their way through routine after routine.

With their oldest member being Inez at 84 years old, the Tap Katz certainly did not show signs of slowing down.

‘I don’t know where their energy comes from!’ one client was heard saying.

The Tap Katz formed as a group over 20 years ago, which is reflected in their timely costume changes and precision routines.

As singer and musician Rob played his guitar and sang songs from the 50’s and 60s’, the clients all joined in, with client Yvonne even dancing in her chair.

With a big thank you from the audience and the promise of returning, the Tap Katz danced their way out of the Arcare Maroochydore residence.
