To market, to market

The Queen Victoria Market has been a Melbourne institution since 1878. With a bustling food court, and aisles of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as clothing and bag stalls; the market is not only a perfect shopping destination but also offers a fun day out.

Many in the Reservoir Community used to visit the market regularly, and so a group decided they would like to revisit the market and see how it had changed since they last visited.

The group had a fantastic time walking around and looking at all of the fresh produce on offer, and some were even tempted to make a few purchases along the way.

After the crowd had died down, the group strolled through the food court and enjoyed gazing at the coffee, nut, Turkish and bakery goods on display.

Anna ran into an old friend along the way and introduced him to the group.

Still the same much-loved market, the group reminisced about shopping trips they had taken with their families.
