Violet and Monica at Arcare Oatlands, best friends since high school

Violet Basha and Monica Bokeyar at Arcare Oatlands have shared a special friendship for many years now.

Their friendship began during their teenage years after meeting one another at high school.

Since then, they have shared many special moments together and sitting in the lounge room, Violet and Monica spend much time chatting and enjoying each other’s company.

Their families have also grown to know each other and to form lifelong friendships, much like their own.

Now, these two lifelong friends are neighbours in the Arcare Oatlands community and you will often find them attending activities together.

Prior to the preventative lockdown, the weekly bus trips were their favourite activity.

‘We share a lot of special memories together,’ Monica shared.

Their friendship never grows old and it has proven to only grow stronger and stronger over the years.
