Welcoming Spring with Arcare Helensvale’s Spring Fling

To welcome the warmer Spring season, Arcare Helensvale organised a Spring Fling for clients and families to enjoy.

As everyone came to grab the seat, they were impressed with how the café was decorated.

The tables were decorated with bright green streamers and pretty flower vases, and the walls were lined with pink flower cut-outs.

Team members and clients also put on their best floral clothes to suit the Spring theme.

Some even wore floral crowns to add a floral feel to their uniform.

Being able to dress up for special occasions builds the clients’ confidence as they independently choose and experiment what they want to wear for the Spring Fling.

And to top it all off, the lifestyle team organised a talented crooner to provide some musical entertainment.

As he sang classic, well-known songs from Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, his relaxed singing style really brightened up everyone’s afternoon.

It brought back many memories for them and even brought some of them to their feet as well!

After enjoying their afternoon snack of wine, cheese and nibbles, the Arcare Helensvale team members and clients got up to dance and sway to the music.

It was wonderful to see the clients enjoying themselves as they sang along to the songs that they knew.

Pre-dinner drinks are an important part of the clients’ weekly routine at the residence.

They sure know how to enjoy life as they sit back and relax with a glass of Pinot Noir in their hands.
