Wrapping dumplings with clients at Arcare Eight Mile Plains

As cooler weather comes around, the clients in Arcare Eight Mile Plains’ Kendall community are preparing foods like dumplings to warm the heart and the soul.

Recently, they filled, wrapped and steamed some yummy dumplings for lunch.

Lifestyle Co-ordinator Fonzie and Mr. Lam worked together to stir the mixture well and ensure all the ingredients and flavours were well combined.

Mr. Lam used to be a cook which is why he enjoyed taking charge and being hands-on in the live cooking demonstration.

With a sprinkle of Fonzie’s secret ingredient, the dumplings were delicious and the clients gobbled them up really quickly.

It’s always nice to cook outdoors and eat good food with friends!

‘They were so yummy, I could have eaten more! But I enjoyed making them for myself and for everyone,’ a client shared.
