There were big smiles when the Arcare Brighton Community was visited by the North Brighton Kinder. One special visitor was amazed that someone in the group was celebrating a 100th birthday. ‘My dad’s turning 50 and my mum is 46, she’s trying to catch up to dad,’ he said.
The children were surprised when Betty told them she was taught the alphabet backwards in kindergarten and could still recite it to this day. The kids brought with them gifts, and shared some chocolate treats with their new friends.
After the visitors left, the residents shared their own happy childhood memories.
