The Arcare Caulfield community is already getting into the spirit of AFL Footy Finals.
Client, Rachel has been busy knitting football scarves since the season began in March. So far, Rachel has knitted one scarf for every team in the AFL; that’s eighteen scarves in total!
Although Rachel only follows one team, Carlton, she thought it would be nice to gift the other scarves to the other clients, who barrack for those respective teams. Rachel hopes that everyone will wear the scarves she made to Arcare Caulfield’s Footy Finals party, that is coming up.
While disappointed that her team, Carlton, didn’t makes the finals, Rachel is happy to be celebrating the spirit of the game with others within the community. Rachel has been joking, that the reason she lost the community’s footy tipping competition is because of her blind faith in Carlton.
Oh well Rachel, there is always next year; best of luck!
