Arcare Craigieburn client, Joyce Laurens has become a great-great grandmother, with the birth of Mackenzie Purcell on the 8th May 2019, weighing 7 pound 1 ounce.

The five generations are: Joyce Laurens aged 88; Dawn Laurens aged 70; Rachel Laurens aged 44; new mother, Courtney Abela aged 22 and the latest edition, Mackenzie Purcell is only 3 weeks old.
Courtney’s mother and newly titled ‘grandmother’, Rachel loves to dote on her on her new granddaughter. Rachel’s mother, Dawn and now great grandmother to Mackenzie says she is ‘very proud’ of her family. However Joyce was ‘proud as punch’ to be a great-great grandmother, announcing to the joyous edition to everyone at Arcare Craigieburn.
All of the clients in the Craigieburn community came to visit the new baby for a look and a cuddle.
