The Arcare Keysborough Community is very lucky to have a talented artist in their midst. Marjorie is a new resident at Arcare Keysborough, and is already an inspiration to residents and staff.
Marjorie, who turned 83 in February, loves painting and practices her skill every day. It was her dream to hold art classes so that she can share her love for painting with others.
Shirley and Nellie were able to make that dream possible, as the first two students to take part in Marjorie’s classes. The pair are very keen to learn and are excited to have discovered their hidden talents.
In addition to painting, Marjorie is also a big fan of classical music. Residents love listening to the lovely sounds of Marjorie’s music when they walk past her room. Marjorie’s room has a balcony view overlooking the gorgeous courtyard, the perfect place to find inspiration to paint.
