Arcare Knox’s cafe is the heart of the community. The cafe is always overflowing with large groups of clients and visitors, who are catching up, or simply enjoying a hot or cold beverage or sweet treat.
One of the familiar faces that can be seen visiting Knox’s cafe everyday is client, Koula.
Koula enjoys visiting to cafe for her daily coffee, and to socialise with other clients and team members. The highlight of Koula’s day, is undoubtedly her visit to the community’s onsite cafe, as she always looks forward to seeing the familiar faces and seeing what art is on her coffee.
“I just love coming and talking to everyone in the café.” Koula said.
During the month of December, the cafe team delighted Koula, as they drew a festive reindeer picture on her coffee everyday. The reindeer artwork was always certain to bring a smile to Koula’s face.
“I’m always made to feel special when I visit the cafe.” Koula said.
Koula not only gets immense happiness and comfort from her visits to the cafe, but the daily walk helps her keep up fitness and maintain her mobility.
