Clients at our 5-star aged care residence, Arcare Carnegie tried their hand at making their own pizzas.
The lifestyle team setup the activity room to feel like, one was walking into a pizzeria in Napoli, Italy. There were checked tablecloths covering the tables, classic Italian music playing in the background and fresh ingredients prepped on the table, for an afternoon of pizza making.
The clients were able to choose their favourite toppings to decorate their pizzas with. The clients could choose from: salami, ham, tomato, tomato paste, mushroom, spring onion, spinach and of course, mozzarella.
The group chatted amongst themselves as the pizzas baked in the woodfire oven. When the pizzas were done, everyone sat down and enjoyed their creations together.
