Twice a month, the Arcare Knox community all gather together for the big Bingo competition. Everyone gathers together, much like they would in a big Bingo Hall, to play some serious Bingo.
Clients get competitive as they are all keen to win the various prizes on offer. To help lessen the competitive spirit within the community, the lifestyle team established a range of prizes for both line and whole card winners.
For the last game of the day, the lifestyle team will encourage everyone to play for a major prize, which typically includes winning something totally wacky and different each time . Everyone has a blast and is on the edge of their chairs waiting to see who wins.
During a November game, client, Inderjit was thrilled when she won the major prize game, winning an antique singing cat. This was Inderjot’s first major win at Bingo, despite being a committed player and never missing the fortnightly games.
“I just love playing big Bingo! I can’t wait until each fortnight on a Friday at 2pm.” Inderjit said.
Inderjit’s daughter was so excited that her mum won a major prize. The family now laughs that Inderjit treasures her singing cat prize so much, that it will most likely become a family heirloom.
