The Arcare Cheltenham community was invited to attend and watch, Seussical The Musical, a production by the students of Heatherton Christian College.
The clients were thrilled with the 5-star greeting they received, as they were given priority seating in the front row. Everyone was excited to see the students perform in their various characters.
The story line for Seussical The Musical was derived from the various books written by Dr Seuss. The primary school students spent weeks practicing their lines and transforming into their characters such as Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2. Finally the students were ready to perform for their parents, friends and extended family.
No one was more excited to watch the performance than teacher and producer, Jenny Fairwether, as her father, Arcare Cheltenham client, Keith was in the audience to watch all of her hard work pay off.
Jenny has been working as a teacher at Heatherton Christian College for 18 years, and she enjoys being able to put on productions with her students.
Keith immensely enjoyed the magical performance, and said afterwards that he couldn’t be more proud of his beautiful and clever daughter.
Keith and the other Arcare Cheltenham clients are already looking forward to watching the school’s next musical production.
