When you need to get a job done, you need to call a handy-man…or handy-men.
Arcare Surrey Hills maintenance man, Gary Cox has formed an unofficial Handyman’s group with a group of clients at the residence.
Gary likes to engage the clients, when he can and encourage them to help out around the residence.
Many of the men enjoy helping out, using their hands and past skills to build or fix something. The tasks, while often small, provide the clients with a great sense of fulfillment once complete.
Recently, Gary assisted the gentlemen to sand back, the new mini-golf set that was recently donated to the residence.
It took the whole afternoon to complete the project and loud laughter could be heard from the group throughout the residence.
The men promised to Gary, a hit of mini-golf, when the set was complete. Everyone in the group is looking forward to playing with the new set, and bragging about their fine handy-work to other clients.
