Sometimes it nice to reminisce about the good old days.
Clients at the Arcare Burnside community requested that the residence host a 1960’s Flashback party, after they had been discussing which decade was their favourite to live through.
The clients described the 1960’s as being their “golden years”.
Team members and clients were encouraged to dress in groovy and funky attire for the day. The lifestyle team also hosted a special lunch and 1960’s musical performance for clients and their families.
Family members participated in the spirit of the event, also choosing to dress up. Many clients and family members got up to dance and sing along to the classic 60’s tunes that were played.
“It is always good to go back to the groovier days!” One clients exclaimed with a smile.
