Beach days for Burnside
While discussing events and outings that the Burnside Community would like to do more of, the ladies mentioned that they would like to host a picnic and the men were keen on a fishing outing.
Both great outdoor activities, it was decided that they would enjoy a day on the water; enjoying a picnic and a spot of fishing.
It was a perfect summer day at Werribee beach; topped off with some cold beers and a delicious lunch.
While the ladies enjoyed chatting and soaking in the sun, the men were casting a reel hoping to get a decent catch.
Oskar made everyone laugh when he suggested that they camp there overnight.
Werribee Beach brings back special memories for many in the group who used to frequently visit it over their childhood summers.
