Meet the fashionable and stylish George Washington at Arcare Pimpama
Meet George O’Hara Washington – Arcare Pimpama’s most fashionable and stylish resident.
Born in Bucharest, Romania, George moved to Australia in 1996 for his family and his work.
He obtained his truck license here and managed to earn quite a bit of savings.
Currently, his son and grandchildren are in Germany while his ex-wife lives in Adelaide.
George shared with us that he likes elegant fashion and recalled going to many parties in his younger days dressed in formal attire.
When asked to describe his personal style, George was quick to say Versace as his inspiration.
“They are very colourful, but I also like Armani, FILA and Nike,” he said.
He also enjoys looking at runway shows and fashion catalogues.
“Since I was a young boy, I was already into fashion,” George shared.
Now at Arcare Pimpama, George would go to Harbour Town to visit his favourite shop, FILA with Lifestyle Co-ordinator Amanda.
Described by Amanda as a ladies’ man, George would pick flowers from the garden for female team members in our community.
George is certainly a fashionable and stylish senior who takes pride in the way he is dressed and groomed.
