Master Chef
In October, the lifestyle team at Arcare Epping introduced a new immersive activity for clients to engage in and enjoy, called Master Chef.
Clients were encouraged to come together to bake up a storm, alongside their dedicated carers.
The new class was hit with all of the ladies within the community, with each wanted to cook a recipe from their family’s personal collections.
However the class quickly settled on baking just the one recipe for their first session, cinnamon muffins. Everyone had their own role to play in the creation of their delicious muffins. One client focused on measuring the ingredients, another wanted to stir the mixture, another was just their to be the group’s chief taste-tester.
It was a wonderful afternoon, which enabled clients to share stories, recipes and grow closer together. Everyone is already looking forward to the next tasty recipe they’ll whip up in the next class!
