Doris Humphris from Peregian Beach is today celebrating her 100th birthday.
Born on March 13, 1923, Doris came to Australia from England has been here ever since. She now resides at Arcare at Peregian Beach.
Her granddaughter Bree Logie said Doris had received a letter from the King and politicians around Australia.
Family and friends including her best friend Edna, who also resides at Arcare, helped Doris mark the occasion yesterday, with great-grandchildren Talo and Amali making her cards, and Jess from Sweet Celebrations Noosa making a rose cake with Doris’ favourite pink icing.
