Enjoying a piano singalong with Fay at Arcare Helensvale

A couple of times a month, clients have the opportunity to enjoy a piano performance at Arcare Helensvale.

The musical performance is led by volunteer Fay, who lives at The Gardens on Lindfield, a retirement village just next door.

As she played some golden oldies from their era, the clients closed their eyes and enjoyed the music.

If they knew the song, they would even clap and sing along to it!

As Fay continued to play on the studio piano, the keys and the notes reverberated throughout the residence.

To hear the piano music flowing through all the halls really brings a sense of joy and peace to all the clients and team members.

Everyone definitely looks forward to Fay’s piano singalong sessions!

Occasionally, a few ladies from Arcare Helensvale will also go over to the retirement village to join in the combined morning tea.

This is a great example of the local community coming together!

And it is also a great way for the clients at Arcare Helensvale to meet new people and make friends of different ages.
