Making friends at the Taigum Kids Early Learning Centre

Clients from Arcare Taigum boarded the bus for the short journey to Taigum Kids Early Learning Centre.

On arrival, the clients were greeted by the sight of over 20 children playing in the front garden.

Megan, Director of the centre, warmly welcomed us and took us into the playground area.

As we all entered the play area, the children ran over and soon, all the clients were surrounded!

“Oh! I wish I had their energy!” client Kay said.

With big, cheeky smiles on their faces, all the kids were very open and comfortable with the Arcare Taigum clients.

Some of the kids even felt comfortable enough to sit on the laps of some of the ladies.

They laughed and chatted as if they had known each other for years!

After chatting and getting to know each other, the kindy kids performed their graduation songs for us.

The excited children also presented the clients with a giant card to thank them for visiting!

Before we knew it, it was time to say our goodbyes and give them some goodbye hugs before we all boarded the bus.

Margaret commented, “That was a lovely morning!”

“Thanks for bringing us to visit the children, it made my day.” Shirley also said.

Being able to interact and make friends with the young children really brought a smile to the client’s faces.

Even though they were tired from all that boundless energy, their hearts were full of wonderful memories of their time with the kids from Taigum Kids Early Learning Centre.
