Thoughtful drawings and letters: Kruger Primary and Arcare St James

In the recent weeks, clients at Arcare Helensvale St James have received a number of kind gifts and donations from the local community.

Suzanne Bish, the Community Development Officer from Queensland Community Care Network Inc (QCCN) partnered with Arcare St James for a wonderful surprise from the primary school students at Kruger State School.

The students submitted their creative works of art to help spread some joy to clients in aged care residences, especially during these difficult times.

And upon receiving these drawings, the clients had a big smile on their faces!

‘How excellent! These children are very talented!’ Pamela commented.

The clients have already written a thank you card in return to show the students their appreciation.

‘Thank you for your kind thoughts, I think it’s wonderful how the young ones keep in touch with us old folks,’ wrote Ian Walter in his thank you card.
